Participation in Oregon

In June 2022, the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission applied to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance requesting funding and technical assistance to implement Justice Counts in Oregon. As stated in Oregon’s grant application, the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission is using Justice Counts “to build a plan to further identify gaps in our state’s current data reporting capacity and deliver a simple and useful system for organizing and reporting out on key system data not currently available.”
