Participation in Arizona

In June 2022, the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) applied to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance requesting funding and technical assistance to implement Justice Counts in Arizona. As stated in Arizona’s grant application, ACJC is using Justice Counts to “support the collection and dissemination of a core set of criminal justice metrics. Through the dissemination process, decision-makers and other criminal justice stakeholders will have access to actionable data to make policy and budgetary decisions for programs and initiatives.”
