Participation in Montana

In April 2023, the Montana Legislature passed a joint resolution encouraging agencies in Montana to participate in Justice Counts. The joint action resolved that “the Montana Legislature supports the Justice Counts metrics and urges decision-makers throughout the state and local government entities to implement and utilize the metrics and to commit to making the latest criminal justice data available.”
